laptop stickers? tacky? help!

ok so I may be overthinking this. but i really want to put stickers on my laptop but everytime i see somebody with stickers on their laptop it's an apple laptop. i have an hp. so i'm wondering would it look tacky if i did it since i don't own an apple laptop?
