Breastmilk in straw cup or bottle?

My babe is 8 months old and after a rough start with breastfeeding and exclusive pumping hasn’t had a bottle since about 4 months. Now that he’s eating solids he drinks water out of a straw cup. So we are going to Napa in a week and I’m not sure what to put my pumped milk in, the bottle or the straw cup?

Since bottles aren’t recommended after 12 months and he’s already 8 months, I’d say skip the bottle. Put it in a straw or sippy cup. 
I’d do a test run before you go on your trip though. Some babies drink water fine out of a cup but refuse to take their milk from a cup. Better to try ahead of time

I’d say bring both but try the straw cup first. Use a bottle only as back up.

My baby didn’t take a bottle and always used a straw cup for breast milk when I was away. It was one less thing to wean from so I was happy for it. If baby will take it from the cup use the cup!

With my son he pretty much skipped bottles Bc I was home with him for several months and when we got to the point where he stayed else where we alternated soppy cups and straw cups. I started the straws early (6 months). Straws cause them to use different muscles in their mouths and can help with speech development and other things. Now he’s 19.5 months and drinks out of 360 cups and straws still.

is the baby going with you to Napa or is the baby staying with someone? If the baby is staying with someone I have no idea what to tell you I would say perhaps the straw cups and the baby hasn't had a bottle in ages. if the baby is going with you then why would you need to put it in bottles or straw cups?
