TTC first period lasting FOREVER!

Hi everyone,

We lost our little boy on the 3rd Feb, I was 40+4 and he had been wriggling right up until midnight the night before.

Fast forward 8 weeks and we’ve decided that we’d like to leave it up to fate... we aren’t going to try and we won’t use any contraception, I’ve started my prenatals as a precaution.

Obviously however “leaving it up to fate” seems to be a matter of head over heart because day 12 of my period is here, I’m ovulating imminently and I could cry because I’m sure at this stage I’m going to bleed right through.

I’m so disappointed, mainly as I need the breath of fresh air that hoping this will happen brings... even if it doesn’t happen this month. I need the lift!

Plus after this month, if we don’t get a BFP it means the following month would lead to a very similar due date. Any words of encouragement would be hugely appreciated!
