I believe spanking children shouldn’t be a thing at all.

I think that’s for the couple to work out. If he’s around them, and becomes a father figure to them, then yeah he should be able to discipline the children in a way the mother deems fit. I personally am not a fan of spanking so it’s hard for me to say yes. But if he can do it in a way similar to how the mother does, then yeah.

I'm married and we agree on discipline so this isn't an issue for me, but if ANYONE put their hands on my child, they would lose their hands.

I’m on the fence about spanking! I was spanked and I think I’m better for it, but my child might be different. I’d like to exhaust all other options of discipline before spanking. Also, if a man is in the child’s life more than just a new or on and off boyfriend, then I think he should have the right to discipline his woman’s child, with her approval on how and why the child gets disciplined.
