Why is it every time I have sex with my SO, I always hope I end up pregnant. We aren't on any type of protection, all we do is the pull out method.

pull out method isn't a reliable contraceptive method. however, many otherwise healthy couples will find that by pulling out  , they will not get pregnant. my husband and I used the method for 2 years. (we weren't bothered if we did get pregnant and could afford to fall pregnant hence used this method and no real protection). anyway the point is , for 2 years we did not fall pregnant at all. not recommending this method to couples who do want to avoid pregnancies, just pointing out that it can work sometimes.... 2 months of actively ttc and not pulling out- pregnant ! so yeah if you're wanting to get pregnant and still pulling out, don't get your hopes up too high

Talk to your man about this! If you get pregnant it’s not just your baby or your future it’s also his. Have a conversation with him about what you want and what he wants and make a compromise on when is the best time to have a baby for you BOTH.

It sounds like you want to have a baby. Unless you're okay being a single mom, I'd communicate this to your partner. Pull out isn't the most reliable, and lots of women end up pregnant and partner assumed she'd get an abortion because he was pulling out so obviously doesn't want kids yet. Just be sure to be on the same page, whatever that may be.
