Has anybody done Paleo for weight loss?

Are the results good? Is it easy to stick to? I have a history with ednos and binge eating disorder so I often really overanalyze food and what I’m eating and I’ve just had enough of feeling like a whale so my boyfriend suggested we do paleo together since it’s worked really well for him in the past. Currently I’m 5’9 and 170lbs but I’m nervous about being triggered by losing weight too quickly or too slowly. From your experience how quickly did you drop weight (if you did)? Also if you wanna drop your favorite recipes and snacks please do id love some suggestions !
