Is it wrong to ask for someone else

Had an emergency c section with my first my body just can’t handle the birthing part..😢 so I want to have another one and I’m 38 week and I wanted to go in on the 4th to have my c section I will be 39 weeks but my OB told me I had to wait tell the 10th which is my due date I could go in to full term labor before then all because he going to be out of town.. why can’t someone else do it I had someone else do my first cus he was out of town that time to.. ughh
