IUD removal?

What does it feel like to get an IUD removed? Does it hurt/cramp like when getting it inserted?

Answer

The removal for me was like 3 seconds, literally. I closed my eyes because it kinda stung a bit but before I knew the dr told me: “look, it’s out”. Other than the stingy feeling (it’s just that I felt it in my uterus when It came out) I didn’t have cramps at all. I did spotted for a week but no pain at all. And I started the NuvaRing the same day I got it removed.

When I got it removed I didn't have any pains or anything, I also didn't feel any different. I went in for a check up with my primary care provider and mentioned I wanted it out and she was able to do it right then, the removal was quick and easy.
