I met my boyfriend on Tinder 4 months ago. I deleted it, but he hasn't. Yesterday, a girl snapped him while we were together and I asked him who it was. He gave me a rambling response about how she randomly added him and all that. They have a 6 day streak going. He's not protective of his phone and he did open it at my request so I could see it. It fucking hurt and now I'm questioning everything. I told him I didn't believe him and he said that he wouldn't cheat and that I was the one he wanted. Am I just being too trusting?

Set boundaries now. I met my husband on tinder and we had a conversation about, and both agreed to at the same time, delete the app. We decided we were ready to be exclusive about 4 weeks after meeting.

yeah okay it's cool that he was willing to show you but if you're the one he shouldn't even have the account anymore no other girl should be messaging him and you shouldn't have to feel that way

If he willingly showed you, I wouldn't be too worried but if you want more commitment you need to discuss what exactly that entails (deleting dating apps ect) and be open to his feelings on the matter

It's definitely shady but you should really talk to him again. It has only been 4 months so you should find out if he is on the same page as you. He might think you two are one thing while you think its another which could explain why he has his tinder ready at hand in case something happens or fizzes out with you two.

Innocent until proven guilty. I’ve been through this with my ex but it was me snapping a guy from work. There was absolutely nothing going on whatsoever, he just turned into like the big brother I always wanted. Anyway, my ex went all bat shit crazy and I thought after almost 3 years and an engagement I was aloud to make friends. My ex kept saying he’d tell my friends wife what he thought was going on. Suffice to say, I dumped his ass and have never been happier. 
So yeah, just talk calmly to him about your concerns and trust what he says. If he opened it in front of you then I’d say there’s nothing going on there.
*side note* I met him on tinder... wouldn’t advise it.
