Can I test now?

On birth control and was supposed to get my period this week since I’m on my placebo week/sugar pills. Since I didn’t get a period this week, and I start my new pack of birth control on Sunday can I take a test tomorrow first thing in the morning? Plan on getting first response, hopefully two so I can take one tomorrow morning and one sometime during the week next week.
