How can you tell?

When did you know they were the one for you? 
I’ve been talking and going on dates but how can you tell they like you and want to stay with you for more than a couple of months?

Well it actually took me along time to realize when the moment was. Over our relationship, I’ve questioned us many times, but never once did I stop fighting for us.
Many times, I wondered, ‘is this my “he’s the one” moment’, but really it all boils down to one day.
We had been together for maybe two/three months, he opened up to me about his past and was really emotional. He told me about his love for baseball and how he couldn’t play anymore and he started crying. I sat down next to him and, as he cried in my arms, I just felt I knew he was the one for me. No matter what, I’m fighting for this one. 
And, ever since, I’ve got no doubt in my mind, he is the one I’ll be marrying one day.

Took me more dates than I can count and several months
He treated me as equal, made me feel like I'm the only woman who mattered and empowered me. I was in denial of my own feelings for a long while, though.

I think you can just see it in their eyes when they like you back. My BF of almost 2 years and I had one date and the whole time it was just like hanging out with someone I had known. There were butterflies but I wasn't very nervous. That person will just give you a sense of comfort. We went on one date and that night he asked if I would be his and I said of course lol he is still my best friend and lover and we moved in together after a year of only seeing each other on weekends due to distance. I just think if you like someone tell them how you feel and go for it. Everything doesn't always work out but you won't know unless you give them a chance.
