Birth

How painful is it to have a baby? I plan on having one or two in the future and I really want a all natural birth, no iv no medications. Was looking into the water births. If I had a midwife and a few more people there to help me relax would it be that bad? Feel free to post your experiences so I have a better idea as to what to expect.. I’m really just scared of needles and especially one going into my back & causing trouble afterwards.
