What do y’all think, should every place have a sign like this?

There’s a new place opening up in my town and I seen they put this in the front.

I voted no because I don’t think places should have that sign, those things SHOULD be a given. Some of them are illegal (in my country) and the others mentioned are just how decent human beings should interact with each other. 
Sad thing is they’re not obvious and apparently we feel the need to explicitly ask for this behaviour. So I get the sign, I just don’t think it should be something that people need reminding of in 2018 but I know it is.

I voted no. We shouldn’t need signs to remind us to not be fucking vile. These things should be a given 🙄 A sign isn’t going to stop someone from being a shit being.

These signs aren't to remind people to not be assholes at all. They're to show people with marginalized identities that people there have purposely tried to include them and make a safe space for them. I think it's a very nice gesture, and I appreciate it in businesses I go to that have similar signs.

I voted yes because in general it’s nice to have the reassurance that those things will not be tolerated. But I don’t think it’s necessary to say it is a safe space, because those things should be normally expected things of any business.

I think they’re making a statement. They’re just letting people who usually feel excluded know that their establishment doesn’t play that shit up front. I enjoy it.

I said no because it might be safe. But I dont think so. Posting those will only bring out the bigots and make it unsafe. While the owners can tell the aholes to stay outside, I kinda feel like your putting a target on the people inside. I wish this could be affective. But there’s too many jerks with no lives, who will seek these establishments out.

I thi k having things clearly spelled out like this would make any hatred so much easier to kick out. I get it should be common knowledge not to be a jerk but it's 2018 people think they have the "right" to do and say whatever they want...which is not true! I love this sign! I want to make one for my house! Should it be rewuired...probably not. it's is a good idea..heck yes! thanks for sharing!

I love the sign! I don’t think stores should be forced to put that up or anything like that but that is super cool and I bet it will draw attention and help reassure people who go in as well as keep the wrong people out. Lol
