Put TTC on hold due to time of year?

Question

Anybody else consider putting TTC on hold (or just not trying as hard) during certain parts of the year?  I want to be able to take baby for walks on my maternity leave and if I get pregnant right now baby would come in the start of winter... 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was that way when we started. Only wanted spring babies. That was 9 months ago, at this point, I don’t care anymore..just want a baby.

I had that out look on it. But we are comeing up to 18 months of trying and not pregnant. I always wanted 2 children by the time im 35. Thats never going to happen now. I'm not even going to get 1 child by the time im 35.     So when ever/if ever i get pregnant. I will be grateful for regardless of when it is .

I didn’t consider it to start with. I expected we’d get pregnant quickly and therefore would be having my baby by June/July 2018. Now we are 11 months in I just want to have a baby... not even going to become parents this year 😔

Yes! I’ve been putting it off so my baby isn’t born in December. Also don’t want to be super pregnant in the summer. I already get too hot. I think if I cannot get pregnant right away, I’ll have a different outlook and care less about the due date.

Haha yes! I/ We watch a lot of ID channel and there was a mention of November being a month a lot of serial killers were born... like about 15% more than any other month... but because of that (and the fact I’m crazy) we skipped on the November baby 😂

My husband is adamant about no December baby. He has a birthday on December 12, and hates having it grouped with Christmas. 😂
