I don’t think it’s “fair” but I do realize my looks contribute a lot to how I am treated. It’s easy for me to get jobs or talk my way into a free drink at a bar.....but I honestly get shitty looks from random women all the time even if I smile at them🤷🏼‍♀️ 
It’s definitely not “fair” but I know I do know I have it easier for the most part.

Pretty people privileges is a real thing. You are more likely to get more jobs, people who are attracted to you may make excuses for bad behaviour, you’re automatically on the “right” side of interactions. However there is also a small downside too, as people may assume you’re snobby and conceited because of your looks, you become a target for rapists and etc. There are upsides and downsides, but I would say from what I’ve seen of others who have PPP the upsides outweigh the down.

Yeah. And insta is a prime example. If you are cute and all companies want you to advertise. These people often have a better lifestyle because they get handed things. I mean I’m sure they work hard but not like how I work hard to keep a roof over my head. Or how I try to make sure I have enough money to pay for gas.

I think people tend to base most of their life views on their own experiences. Unless one takes time time to look at what’s happening outside themselves they think the world is only he way they receive it.
So I agree with this to a certain extent. Though there is a lot more that affects how one is treated aside from heir aesthetic appeal

I definitely agree with it to an extent but also it depends on the person. I think that especially for women society grants more opportunities and treats women who are societally considered “beautiful” better but with that I think there also comes more of an objectification towards those women and more pressure to constantly fit the beautiful mold so I think it evens out a little bit. Just because your granted opportunities through attractiveness doesn’t mean there isn’t pressure to keep up with it.

I always thought it was the opposite bc good looking ppl are often not taken seriously, or the whole "what real problems do have?" They get treated as if they're naive or unable to do intellectual/ intelligent tasks. I'd also imagine sexism plays into that bc anything feminine is inferior by these societal standards.
