Inhaling pesticide??

Okay so we’ve been having a problem with fleas and mosquitos so my hubby decided to spray some type of repellent outside our window frames and edges of the house, the whole time I was inside. But I read somewhere that it can be very dangerous during the first trimester and now I am very paranoid and scared 😩 is this only dangerous when you inhale it constantly or just a one time thing 😭
