Newborn two weeks old today is eating 3-4 oz a feeding now?

I’m concerned cause until yesterday he was really satisfied with 2 oz per feeding and today he acts like he’s starving.
Hasn’t spit up, hasn’t gotten sick from the increase today yet but seems like a lot. He is a bit of a bigger baby

It happens! My three week old is eating 4 ounces almost every feeding now. She’s a little piggy and was eating as much as your little one at that point. If they start to spit up I’ve learned to back off the amount just a little and burp them more often. I burp at 2 ounces then 3 ounces. If she’s still hungry I’ll go to 4 ounces.

My daughter did the same thing when she turned 2 weeks old! She is almost 4 weeks old now and is consistently eating 3-4 ounces per feeding. My doctor says it is nothing to be concerned about and to feed her until she is satisfied.

Is eating about 2-3oz every 3-4 hours. Dr said today that as long as she’s getting at least 24oz a day it’s fine. To feed them when theyre hungry. That it’s all

My little preemie is 11 weeks old (3 corrected) and NEEDS to have a minimum of 120mls (4oz) every 3 hours. They'll go through growth spurts when it will seem you can't fill them. A couple of weeks ago that meant we were doing feeds of 220mls (6ish oz) every 3 hours. After a few days it settled back down.

Mine will be 3 weeks on Thursday and eats 2-3 oz every 2 hours. (His ped suggested every 2 hours during the day so he knows it’s daytime and try to stretch him to 4 hours overnight.)
