Missed Ovulation

Hey everyone!

I don’t normally post on here but I’m looking for some feedback. I have a fairly regular cycle. 27/28 days and normally ovulate on cycle day 16ish. This month I took ovulation tests during my fertile week and they were all faint lines not positive.

My friend went through fertility stuff and her Dr said to take the tests at 1pm because that’s when your LH surge is the highest.

So basically my question is: is it normal to skip an ovulation cycle?

I’ve taken preggo tests and they’ve been negative.
