THE WORST PERIOD CRAMPS EVER

So when I first ever got on birth control is was for my period cramps. Now it’s for preventing pregnancy and the cramps. I stopped having periods when I got on the depo and now I’m on the nexplanon and I have a period every so often. It catches me by surprise. When I do have a period though, it hurts as bad as it always has. I don’t know what to do anymore about it. So if anyone has any solutions at all please let me know. I’m begging at this point because no doctor will help.
