When will they schedule the c section??

Ok I don’t know much about this so anyone with experience can you please help me out. I have a 10 month old baby boy born via c section. I am currently 6weeks and 4days with baby #2 and obviously I know I will have to have a schedule c section this time around. When would they likely schedule this c section for?? A lot of people say 38weeks. Also what if I go into labor on my own before the c section what will happen???

In the uk they leave u till 39 weeks but my last planned was 3 days before my due date. So they do it close as they can. I’m having a 3rd baby and Finding out in two weeks hopefully x

39wks is when they schedule and if u go into labor before they just do the csection then as long as u are after 35wks they won't try to stop it.

My doctor, and many others I have heard of, schedule at 39 weeks. If you go into labor before, they generally do a c-section at that time.

Depends what your need for a csection was. My doc will do 39 weeks and some providers malpractice insurance will not cover vbacs.

You don’t have to have a schedule c-section if you don’t want one. As long as your doctor supports VBAC it’s an option. 
They usually schedule a repeat section for 39 weeks. They’ll set the date way closer to your due date, depending on the doctor and hospital. If you go into labor before, you’ll go to the hospital and they’ll do the surgery then.
