Can the sex/gender change?

So at 16 weeks we paid and went to one of those cute little ultrasound boutiques and found out we’re having a girl! 
But my MIL keeps saying I’m carrying low and she thinks it’s just a late blooming boy..now I’m worried

ultrasound is probably right. the sex is determined early. it can not change

I’m carrying high and it’s a boy. The way you carry doesn’t determine gender, it’s actually influenced by your stomach muscles. Don’t read too much into it. Gender is determined and visible by 12 weeks, it doesn’t change. The only way you could have the opposite is if the tech was wrong but that doesn’t happen a ton anymore.

carrying high or low is just old wives tale when it comes to the sex of the baby. I would put more stock in the ultrasound, although those are sometimes wrong.
