Unplanned pregnancies?

I know they say the chances of conceiving while on the pill, IUD, or using condoms is low, but I'm wondering how many people on here have gotten pregnant on a reliable form of BC? Just out of my own curiosity, because it sounds like the numbers are a lot higher than what medical professionals usually state (ie. 0.01% on the pill)

That 0.01% is with perfect use, unfortunately many people don’t use birth control accurately, lowering the protection rate. Condoms are 85-97% effective. I never had a problem or a pregnancy scare.

I was on the pill for 8 years as my only form of birth control and I never got pregnant. I took it at the same time every day and had an alarm on my phone. But I had so many girlfriends who would be like “ohhh I’m just so bad at taking my pill!”  I didn’t think it was difficult at all.
