Vasectomy while pregnant?

Has anyone had their husband get snipped while they were still pregnant? My husband wants to get it done before the baby comes so he's sterile by the time he is born but I feel like its bad luck

Heck no. I would not be on board. Don’t want to be negative but that baby ain’t here anything is still possible. I’d want like a couple couple months after the baby is born before something like that happens.

I’m with you... but I’m a pretty superstitious person. If these babies are healthy, THEN my husband will get snipped.

hubby is making an appointment couple months after baby is born.

We are waiting til after, feels like asking for something to go wrong if we did it before.. and I'm not very superstitious. Once baby is born he's going to book his appointment, we will stick with the 6 weeks before sex guideline so wont have to worry about getting pregnant for that long at least, then use condoms as much as we hate them til it's confirmed it worked

My husband and I have agreed that he will be getting snipped when we are done having kids, BUT we will be waiting at least a year or two after our last kid is born to make 100% sure we are done.

I definitely can see both points of view!! But ultimately if you don’t feel right about it, I think that should be most important. It’s possible for it to be undone, but miserable (so I imagine)

You have to wait 6 weeks after anyway.
He could just do it around baby's birth.
It won't kill to use condoms the first few weeks back to sex anyway.
