Mucus plug? (TMI WARNING)
I've been having constant but very mild cramping in my very lower abdomen and lower back all day today. I've been having braxton hicks a lot for a few weeks now, but no cramping at all and no pain. But today, this is more like the first day of your period, where there's a constant dull pain. This morning, I took some tylenol and laid down and it helped. But it's back now.
Now for the TMI part: Every time husband and I have sex, I get white or clear mucus for day or two. But today, I had A LOT of yellowish, almost green, very thick mucus come out. It did not have blood, but it was definitely not like the semen usually is. I'm only 32 weeks but I know the mucus plug can regenerate and whatnot. I'm still not 100% sure it was my mucus plug though? I'm also annoyed with the cramping and back pain, but know if I'm not going into preterm labor, I'll get sent home and told to take tylenol. How do I know it's my mucus plug and when is it a concern?
