This is a free magazine that Abeka Academy sends out quarterly. It does promote their curriculum but it also includes some great ideas and teaching tips that anyone homeschooling could incorporate into their lessons.

I just got mine in the mail today and thought I’d share it here in case someone would like to receive it also.

I got mine! We weren’t home last week. When we came home last night, it was waiting in the mailbox😊The story about the Gellos family was fun to read. We actually travel more than they do, and I homeschool out of hotel rooms most days. We travel about 35,000-40,000 miles a year. It was neat hearing about others schooling that way too😁

My husband is an industrial electrician. So he goes to grain facilities, powerhouses, etc. to wire up big equipment and turbines. He is Kentucky right now working for TVA on a new power plant. We went to see him this weekend, but we had to be back last night for baseball. He’s gone all the time because of his work, so the kids and I travel with him. This way we still get to be together😊 We’ve gotten to see a lot of neat places this way.

That’s great! I think it has some neat ideals in it. I don’t want to be too nosy but if you don’t mind me asking? What do y’all that involves so much traveling? I have a friend who’s husband delivers bulls and she travels with him sometimes and homeschools the kids on the road.
