Good weight gain??

So we went to the doctors for little man's 1 month check up this morning, he's exactly 5 weeks today. When he was born at 36weeks 6days he was 5lb 11oz 19inches. then the day after we left the hospital he was 5lb 8oz 19inchs. Today he measured 7lb 15oz and 20 1/2inches. We exclusively breast feed right now. I asked my doctor if he was gaining good weight and he didn't really give me a good answer/I couldn't understand what he was saying he was kind of all over the place. So I just want to ask if it sounds like he's put on good weight? I'm so paranoid whether I'm doing well or not! I want to keep exclusively breastfeeding but if it sounds like I need to supplement I'll do it if it's best for him. Just want the best for my babe! Thanks for the input 😊
