Had my anatomy scan today and found out it’s a boy! Everything looked perfect and he was entertaining us by rolling and flipping and squirming all over the place. I’m 20+1 weeks today and he was measuring at 20+2 weeks so he’s pretty much exactly where he should be. The only down sides today were about me and not him. There was elevated sugar in my urine but when they pricked my finger to check it was within normal range so they are going to keep an eye on it but wait to do the glucose test at the normal 27 week mark. Also, apparently my placenta is a little to close to the cervix for their liking so they want another ultrasound at 27 weeks to see if it’s resolved itself. If not it means a csection which isn’t my preference but I’m not devastated by the possibility of it either.
