I have a hard time eating solid foods in the mornings (I wish I knew why) so I drink a plant based protein powder with any sort of milk (cow, almond, or lactose free) every morning(I work a tedious outside job where I would die if I didn't put calories in my body in the morning). The plant based powder had less sugars in it for me and tastes a lot less gritty and is more compromising on my sensitive stomach than a whey protein.
