Sonogram???

I havnt had a sonogram since 7 weeks I’m 15 now I want to see my baby!!! My doctor said we had to wait until 18 to 20 weeks I’ll be 17 when I go back any chance they might do it then? This is my first baby and third appointment. What usually happens at the third appointment?

Most drs won’t do the anatomy scan until around 19-20 weeks because that’s the best time to check growth.. 
at 17 weeks they may not be able to see everything they need to see. 
I only had a scan at 7 weeks for dating and my anatomy scan at 20 weeks.. and I’m 39+2.. 
you can pay for extra private scans if you have a place that does it in your area!

I'm 30+6 and I've only had 2 ultrasounds, one at 8 weeks and my 20 weeks. my next and last ultrasound will be 35 weeks. next appointment is blood pressure, urine, baby's heartbeat and fundal height (where the top of your uterus is). this is also my first and understand wanting to see the baby growing.

All my appointments between ultrasounds are just usually weight check, blood pressure, babys heart rate and any questions i had. My Dr waited till closer to 19/20 for the next US because some insurances only cover so many

You have to ask them.. & they do the same thing they do at the previous appt such as a urine sample, check blood pressure.. etc.
