Friday at the bar

My boyfriend punched a guy in the throat (he was aiming for the face) we were all drunk but he did it because the guy he punched was making me and my friend uncomfortable. They guy my bf punched was raising his voice at my friend and kept saying he wanted to take her home... I went to check on her he said "it's none of your business" that's when my bf came over and said "you need to be more polite when you talk" and he pretty much said to get lost and that's when my bf hit him. We just found out today through my friend that the guy that was hit called the police and is trying to get my bf arrested. He hardly hit him and was completely fine. He literally just rolled his eyes and walked away.. I don't want him to get arrested, he was standing up for us...
