How long did your yeast infection last?

I’ve had a yeast infection for about 3 weeks now. I’ve gone to my doctor twice and got medicine for it and also tried the 7 day Monistat, but so far nothing has worked. Is it normal for it to last this long and not respond to medicine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

mine lasted for 1 week it was mild but I noticed it literally the same day so I was aware and bought that monistat the next day.. it worked for me tho & applying a ice pack on my vagina for 20 mins on & off . I took a lot of showers with cold water . Cold compress worked well for me

I agree with the cold compress. Also try plain yogurt. The bacterial components in it are actually good to fight bad bacteria, just massage it around the infected area and it will cool it down and heal it.
