Have any of you heard of Ronald McDonald House? If not here is the logo

Recognise it now? You should because this charity is funded by McDonalds. Let me tell you a little about Ronald McDonald house and why it's so special to me. This charity is a home like environment where children with serious conditions who need to be in hospital for a while can stay. It's right next to the hospital and is great for the children as they don't have the depressing aura of the hospital. Also this helps out the parents being able to stay with their kids. In hospitals, or at least ones in the UK you are only allowed one guardian with you over night. This leaves one parent and siblings out of the equation. But in Ronald McDonald house you can have many staying there with you. Which means no one is left. The reason Ronald McDonald house is so special to me is because my little brother was diagnosed with a condition called cranionotosis, this can be fatal if not correxted ASAP. How cute! The doctors said to us that If he isn't treated you could he devastated at the results. So he went to Liverpool which is 3 hours by car from where I live and stayed there for 3 weeks while he had his life saving operation. I was only 9 at the time so I didn't really understand what was wrong with him, all I knew is that something was wrong with my brother and I wanted to help him. But I had to stay behind with my Nana and grandad (who did not help since my grandad just told me to man up, I was a nine year old girl for crying out loud) but three weeks later I got a call from my mum saying they were coming home and she gave the phone to my brother who gurgled since he couldn't really talk yet. I said hello and he opened his eyes for the first time since the operation. This was a big deal since the operation had his face all swollen up so his eyes were too. But he is all good now and is a happy 7 year old. This is a picture
