PCOS diagnosis

I just left the Fertility doctor and now just sitting in my car in shock. We’ve been trying for 6 years now. I had previously seen a fertility doctor he checked for everything and endometriosis then said we should have been pregnant within 6 months of trying.. thanks doc 🤦🏼‍♀️. So after four years and still not being able to conceive I decided to give it another go. I just found out I have PCOS. I have lots of questions of why and how that other doctor didn’t find that and left me in the dust. They are checking all my hormones and thyroid levels and said we may start with metformin or Clomid. But I won’t find out until tomorrow. Has anyone had any success on any of these medications? And also I just want to ask how all of you are doing today to whoever reads this! God Bless
