DNA blood test to find out gender (Kaiser hospital)

Hello Mamas/Mamas to be,

I am about to be 14 weeks (first baby), and would like to know more about the DNA blood test to find out the sex of my baby. I can’t wait until my 19 week ultrasound! I have Kaiser, and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not they can do the test there (I’ve emailed my midwife about this and am waiting for her response). Otherwise, what are my other options?
