Ovulation test 2 days before period

Just a quick question for anyone that’s done this too!

I’ve been cramping on and off for a couple of days and I’m 2 days away from my period - I didn’t have a pregnancy test to hand so I took an ovulation test & it’s come back very positive - could there be a chance I’m pregnant? I had my positive LH surge on cycle day 12 and I’m on cycle day 26 now. I’m going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning but has this happened to anyone and they’ve been pregnant? xx
