I have been on and off birth control my whole adult life. Like on for a year, off for a year etc. The last time I was off BC was a couple years ago and I had pretty moderate flow periods. Like three days of moderate to heavy flow then two days of spotting and then done. If I had spotting before, it was dark brown and just a couple hours before my flow.

After stopping birth control 3 months ago after being on it for about 18 months, my periods have been incredibly light and short. I will spot super light brownish pink (so light you can barely tell it’s there) for two days before my period starts to the point I think it’s implantation bleeding and get a little excited. The last couple cycles have been super short. Like done completely in 3 days once the full flow starts.

It makes me worry a little. I’ve never had trouble conceiving before in fact I’ve only ever gotten pregnant unintentionally. And now that I’m trying it isn’t happening. Periods are lighter than they’ve ever been and no positives.

What’s up with that??! Anyone else experience it or have any input?
