My fiancé and I aren’t getting married till late November/early December 2019 (still undecided on the date as it will be our final year of uni and we need to talk to academic advisors about when exams will finish).

We are both Indian but not really that traditional. I’m Christian and have always thought I’d have a white wedding, at least for the ceremony anyway. My partner is Jain, so he kinda wants a traditional Indian ceremony.

I wanna know if anyone else has had this, what you did and any advice. I’d love an Indian wedding but it’s significantly more expensive and given we are both full time uni students and have no parental support, it’s not easy saving :(

Also it seems kinda vain, but I just think I’d look better in a white wedding dress. Indian dresses are stunning but it usually requires your hair to be up and covered (and my face shape is hideous so I look terrible in an updo) 😂😂
