Dairy free formula?

Need some suggestions on dairy free formula. 
We have to start supplementing for our 4 month daughter. She has a dairy sensitivity and we do not want to do soy formula 🙅‍♀️
We’ve been supplementing with breastmilk so far, but I can’t pump enough for daycare and supplementing.

If you get it tested by a doctor, insurance will help cover the cost of dairy free formula. I believe they have multiple options, but it probably depends on insurance.

You might ask about Elecare. Super expensive but is amazing.I don't think it has any milk product in it. It's amino acid based. I had to use it with both my twins. They had severe acid reflux and no other formula worked.

How did you know she has a dairy allergy? Curious bc I’m wondering if my daughter might have an allergy to dairy proteins in my breast milk

those are all of the formulas we tried for our son who has a cows milk protein allergy.

Do you know what she is sensitive to with dairy? Many babies (and adults) are sensitive to the A1 protein found in most American and European cows milk (especially the beautiful black and white Holstein cows). There are studies that show how bad the A1 protein is for our health, so now there’s an adult milk on the market that only uses cows that produce the A2 protein. Unfortunately, I don’t know of a cows milk formula with only the A2 protein available for babies, but goats milk doesn’t contain the A1 protein so it might be worth a try.
