I’m looking to adopt a dog but wouldn’t be able to take it home until 2 weeks from now. If I found a dog that I connected with is it possible that I could pay the fees and fill out an application while they keep the dog until I’m ready to bring them home?

They can usually accommodate you. Be upfront with them when you are looking! If you're thinking puppy or dog momma, you might not be able to take them right away anyway.
