yeast infection?

so i called my doctor a few days ago because im having horrible issues , yellow discharge and itchyness. He said he wont give me meds till he sees me but i said screw it cause i have a gyno apt monday. so i called my gyno and explained what was going on and she called me over medicine till my apt . i took the forst pill at 11 but im still itchy and having discharge. Any idea how long it takes to kick in. im very uncomfortable 😟 i want to soak in a bath but not sure if that will make it worse 😞😞😞😞
