Do I have a right to be mad??

Me and this dude met up in his hometown (I’ve never been there so I’m obviously unfamiliar with the area) . He told me to follow his car. And it was dark. We went out, and took his car. When we came back I got in my car and by the time I was in my car he was gone. Here I am in the middle of no where (literally) so I have no cell reception (couldn’t use maps) and I have no idea how to find myself back to the main road. I tried calling him and he told me later when I confronted him that his phone died..... Do I have a reason to be mad???? It took me 45 mins to figure out how to get to the highway!!
