How many of you are slotted to get a 28 week scan?

I wasn’t sure what to expect after my 20 week scan last week (everything was great!) but I was surprised they decided to book me in 8 weeks later. Just wondering how routine it is!

I had to get another one yesterday at 24 weeks, but just because they weren’t able to get all the images they needed at my anatomy scan. Hopefully everything looks great, and I don’t have to have another one.

They scheduled a 28 week scan for me because I have a low lying placenta and they want to check where it is at that point.

My doc said one at 28 weeks also. solely to check size. I doubt they'd lie. if something was wrong they'd have to say.

I have a 6cm fibroid so I get another at 32 weeks.

Where I live, I get one at almost every apt. and I’m not high risk or anything. It’s just routine

This is my second pregnancy and I’ve only ever had one around 10 weeks and the anatomy scan. Why would they do it at 28?

I’m getting one every 4 weeks, because of what happened during our last pregnancy. Baby girl had Bladder Outlet Obstruction (diagnosed at 18 weeks) and was a stillborn at 28 weeks. This baby—our son—is perfectly healthy, but my placenta is curled slightly, so they want to keep an eye on growth. He was measuring 2 days ahead at our 20 week appt!

I have one schedule but only because they couldn’t get a good view of everything at the anatomy scan.. my doc scheduled it further out to get a growth scan as well instead of just going in right away... two birds one stone type of thing

My doctors office does a 3D scan for free and so at 28 weeks we get to do that. Other than that I won't have any ultrasounds again and will have to wait to see her when she's born!

We’ll be getting another scan around that time, but only because the baby had pyelactasis (excess fluid in her kidneys) at our initial anatomy scan, and the doctor recommended having another scan to see if it’s improved by then.
