Does the Daith piercing actually work for migraine relief?

I had mine done together 2yrs ago, they've helped me a lot, I still get migraine almost daily but I can manage them instead of spending 6+ hours in bed like I used to. I gently put my finger over them and kinda rub (like you would your temples) and it helps greatly with sickness and blind/colour spots.

There isn’t any scientific proof that it works. And if any piercer is telling you it’s guaranteed to stop your migraines they’re completely full of shit and you should go to a shop with more educated and trustworthy artist.

It helped me. The piercer told me to tug on it softly (just barely pull on it a little) when I felt a headache coming. So I did that and it actually worked. Unfortunately I had to take it out because my cartilage piercings never seem to work, so I started drinking coffee and stopped getting my daily headaches.

I had mine done and it helped until the healing process was over. Then I still had to end up going to the doctor to get put in a migraine prevention medication. but I still love the piercing itself so it was worth it for me
