Nope. But it gets numb after a while that’s why I hate taking brakes. Every break the pain starts all over

My artist had a soap with lidocaine in it that he uses sometimes usually if we're working big areas or I'm in a lot of pain but it only helps for ten or so minutes

The artist I go to does depending on how long the tattoo takes. He doesn’t spray it on before he starts it’s after he’s been working on it for a little while. When we take a break he sprays it on there and lets it sit till we start back. The one he uses is called bactine. It’s a spray that helps numb it and soothe the area. I dont think it makes much of a difference thou of course you can still feel it.

Some artists have it on hand. Most charge extra though. The artist I went to recently told me “we don’t believe in it so we don’t carry it” but then the woman who cuts my hair also does tattoos and she offers it if people want it. Varies from artist to artist.

The guy I’ve been going to has spray but only uses it for big tattoos

and long sesión. Not for any perforation ( I see the pic and see a small tattoo but it’s on my left side from hip to where my boob starts, he used the spray for the coloring of the flower since he used different colors imagen the pain after he had already gone over with one color and to go over it with a different color I did it in one session)
