blood clots and birth control???? SCARED HELP

so I'm obese and only sixteen and started taking progestrin and estrogen birth control to get periods because mine were completely absent and I've heard that they cause blood clots should I be worried?

What they don't tell you is that being pregnant is a much higher risk for blood clots than being on birth control. Yep, being pregnant is more dangerous by far.
