Do people overly abuse the website ‘go fund me?’

A girl I graduated high school with posted a go fund me page she created for her brother.

Her brother passed away in California and they’re trying to raise the money to bring him back to Tennessee.

There have been comments on her original page talking about how this isn’t what ‘go fund me’ was intended for.

I’m ok with this, considering one guy made a go fund me for a “supreme” jacket he wanted...

This seems like a valid reason to create a go fund me, in my opinion.
