plus size gender appointment @ 16 weeks??

Question

I'm scheduled to have a gender ultrasound at 16 weeks and afraid bcuz of the extra fluff they won't be able to tell.. how early was your gender scan??

I started my pregnancy off at 286 pounds and had a private gender scan at 15 weeks and they were able to tell.

Around 16 weeks for the gender scan but baby wouldn’t cooperate to find out.  We found out it was a boy through genetic testing at 12 weeks though  (which was done due to my age). He did not actually confirm his boy parts on ultrasound until 30 weeks!  He really was not cooperative on ultrasound at all, I ended up having 5 total.

I had one at 14 weeks and she could tell no problem. Had an extra one at 17 and got additional clear pictures. It wasn’t an issue. I’m 225 and 5’7”

I’m 5’1 and 267 and I just did mine at a private out of pocket place I’m currently 15.5 weeks. They told us the gender but I’ll confirm
At my 16 week appointment this Friday and at our anatomy scan on May 11. Girl they will be able to tell. It all depends on how baby is positioned and if he/she wants to she themselves.
