What exactly is PCOS?

I know what it is but can you have PCOS without the weight Gain, does anyone have it but still have a little frame?  And if so what is the treatment

Yes I think it’s something like 20% of women with it don’t have the typical abdominally obese presentation. I’m one of the lucky ones. I do have excess hair growth but thank god my body hair is blonde, and I have mild cystic acne on my jawline and back.

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, but I’ve been underweight my whole life. I’m barely 5’ tall and I weight about 85-90 pounds. I’m on a birth control pill (for about 2 months now) and I haven’t experienced any weight gain.

yes, I have it but gained weight due to taking synthroid for hypothyroidism, I've had pcos for a long time and was always around 115, once I got on synthroid I got it to 215😥 march of last year I was put on metformin to help with pcos and I got down to 196 and then got pregnant
