What was it like when you got your period back PP?

I’m now 7 and a half months PP and I think I might be having a period. I’ve been very lightly spotting the last three days and this is the most I’ve bled since the bleeding after labor. I think this is my body trying to have a period again? What do you think?

I spotted for a few days then it got slightly heavier, then ended after a week. I was relieved because I had heard periods can be bad after birth and I thought I had escaped it! Nope!!! The following month I had the longest, heaviest period of my life! It lasted almost 2 weeks and it was super heavy 😳 Now I’m on my 5th period and it’s definitely getting lighter again, but it still lasts longer than it used to. Now they last around a week, whereas before they were only 2-4 days long and I barely even needed protection before.

My period came back immediately after PP bleeding stopped, despite doing EBF. I get way worse back pain now but otherwise it’s pretty much the same. However, i randomly skipped one month and also had a period eight days after the previous period ended. Yay for BF hormones!

I had a couple “periods” that were very light spotting and it never got heavier. Then BAM at 4 months PP I was hit with the heaviest period of my life! It was awful!!! Then I went 3 months no period and then just last week again super bad period only slightly not as heavy...body is trying to get back into the swing of things I think.

Got mine today while at work it's a F***ing blood bath!  Oh and the worst cramps and back pain!

For me it was exactly same as any other period I have 👍 with exception of terrible hormonal acne for first two cycles it was SO bad but haven’t got it since.
