I need to be dicked down😫

Im in a 6 year relationship that is all around pretty good. The major negative is that we never have sex. I always have to initiate it and at this point I’ve kind of given up, it’s been about 8 months since we last had sex and I just don’t understand. I bring it up all the time. He says he’ll try harder, he wants it, etc. but here we are and nothing’s changed. Definitely a hit to my confidence.
